Prasanna Kotyal is a part-time M.S. (Research) scholar at the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), funded by the Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA). His current research involves collaborating with ADA to develop guidelines for the Independent Verification and Validation of critical AI systems, directly contributing to national defense projects.
Prior to his current role, Prasanna gained industry experience as a Graduate Engineer Apprentice at DEBEL-DRDO, where he implemented and optimized machine learning models for biomedical time-series classification on embedded platforms like Jetson Nano. He also interned as a Systems Engineer at COWRKS, where he provisioned AWS infrastructure and enhanced network security with Palo Alto firewalls.
Prasanna graduated with a B.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from New Horizon College of Engineering in 2024 with a CGPA of 9.52/10. His work on visual attention models was presented at an international IEEE conference. He is passionate about building robust, secure, and trustworthy AI systems.
